Being your birth doula first and foremost would be a privilege. You can hire me from your first trimester and I will spend a number of hours with you and your birth team getting to know you and your wishes.
We do antenatal work together that will inform you fully on the details you need to know to prepare for you birth.
We form a WhatsApp group and keep in communication during your pregnancy.
When you are 39 weeks I go on call for you, i can attend appointments with you and I can provide you with comfort and support in the final weeks. When you go into labour I am there with you. I will stay after and support initiating feeding.
I will come and do a postnatal visit after a few days and we can keep in touch on the phone for 3 weeks.
